Explore Types of Courses in Further Education

Accredited courses

Accredited courses are regulated and approved by a professional body. Accredited courses are nationally recognised qualifications and providers have a high standard to meet when delivering these qualifications. We follow set processes to ensure we meet the high-quality that customers should receive. We continually update our standards and processes to provide a good service and learning experience.

Non-accredited courses

Our non-accredited courses are created by experts with vast experience in their field of expertise. We have created the courses in-line with regulated criteria. The content of a non-accredited course, with us, is on par with a regulated course. However, you will not receive a recognised qualification but instead you will receive a certificate from 'My Future Courses' to demonstrate you have completed the course.

Funded courses

The Department for Education provides providers like us funding to up-skill people in the work setting. Funded/Part funded Accredited courses have different processes to our other courses as more professional bodies are involved and additional requirements have to be met.  As you have to meet the eligibility requirements set out to complete a funded course, more paperwork and audit trails are included throughout the journey.

CPD Courses

CPD stands for "Continuing Professional Development" courses. These are courses designed to help individuals enhance their knowledge and skills in their chosen profession or industry. CPD courses are typically short-term, modular, and focused on specific topics or areas of expertise. In many professions, CPD is a mandatory requirement for maintaining professional registration or certification. This is because it helps to ensure that professionals maintain the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs competently and ethically.

Work ready courses

Work Ready courses are designed to get people ready for work, typically aimed at helping individuals acquire the skills, knowledge, and competencies necessary to succeed in the workplace. These courses are designed for individuals who are new to the workforce or who are seeking to transition to a new career.

Courses to get people ready for work cover a wide range of topics, including job search strategies, CV writing, interview skills, workplace communication, and professional etiquette. They also cover more technical skills, such as computer proficiency, customer service, and time management.

Memebership courses

A membership course is a type of educational program that provides access to exclusive content, resources, and community support to members who pay a recurring fee. Membership courses cover a wide range of topics and are designed to provide ongoing learning and development opportunities to members over a period of time.
